Melina Glass
Our glass shades are hand-made by a fantastic glass blowing company, who are highly skilled in creating the shapes and different glass finishes. For the Melina we chose two different glass finishes: opal and clear, both with a velvety matt finish. The opal matt is a classic glass type, giving a soft and consistent all over light with just a highlight at the dimple. The clear matt consists of a clear glass that is then acid etched, making it translucent. When switched on, the light emphasises the bulb, which appears as a glowing ball inside the glass shade.
